WC-Turm abbauen

An der Ostseite des Hauses wurde einst ein Toiletten-Turm angebaut. Zwei Klos auf zwei Stockwerken sind darin, wobei das untere noch ein "In-die-Hocke-gehen"- Klo ist. Der ganze Turm ist circa 7 Meter hoch und 2 auf 2 Meter breit. Da die Steinmauern 70 cm dick sind, ist in der tatsächlichen Toilette kaum Platz. Zudem sind an der Rückseite des Hauses eine grosse Terrasse und zwei Balkone eingeplant. Daher haben wir entschieden, den gesamten Turm abzubrechen und Licht hereinzulassen. Dafür müssen 13,5 Tonnen Steine von oben nach unten abgetragen werden. Damit niemand zu Schaden kommt, wird immer eine Arbeiter*in an einem Seil mit Klettergurt am Dachbalken befestigt. Die Steine wirft er/sie nach unten, wo ein Auffangbecken errichtet worden ist. Ist dieses voll, kommen die "Boden-Arbeiter*innen" zum Einsatz und schleppen die Steine von Hand auf den Anhänger.

At the back of the house was once added a toilet tower. Two toilets on two floors are in it. The lower one is still an "standing" toilet. The whole tower is about 7 meters high and 2 by 2 meters wide. Since the stone walls are 70 cm thick, there is hardly any space in the actual toilet. In addition, at the back of the house is planned a large terrace and two balconies. Therefore, we decided to raze the entire tower to the ground. For this, 13.5 tons of stones have to be removed from the top to the bottom. To ensure that no one comes to harm, one worker is always attached to the roof beam by a rope with a climbing harness. He throws the stones downwards, where a catch basin has been built. When this is full, the "ground workers" come into action and haul the stones by hand onto the trailer.
